Wayfare

Every photograph you keep, exactly where you put it.

Private storage for photos and videos. You make the folders. Nothing analyses your library, ranks it, or resurfaces it.

5 GB free. No card.

This is the whole interface.

Open a folder. Open a photograph. Come back. That is all there is.

Mountains

  • Folders, not albums

A folder is a folder. Nest them as deep as you like, move things between them, rename them. Nothing decides where a photograph belongs except you.

  • Originals, untouched

The file you upload is the file you download, byte for byte. Smaller versions are generated for speed; the original is never replaced.

  • Nothing is looking

No face recognition. No object detection. No memories, no highlights, no suggestions. Your library is storage, not a feed.

What fits in 5 GB?

Move the sliders. The bar is the one you will see at the top of every screen.

2.4 GB of 5 GB

2.6 GB left. That is another 750 photographs.

Counted at 3.5 MB a photograph and 65 MB a minute of 1080p video, which is roughly what a current phone writes.

Most photo services are built to show you things. Wayfare is built to hold them.

What it does not do — yet.

  • Share a link to a photograph or a folder.
  • Search inside your photographs. Search finds names, not contents.
  • Edit, crop or adjust anything.
  • Install as a native app. It runs in the browser, including on a phone.
  • Sell you more space. Five gigabytes is where version one starts.

This is version one. Everything above is a decision to add later, not something quietly missing.
